His Legacy… William Kenneth Mollenhour III, 81, passed away October 9, 2018.
He was born on September 27, 1937, in Warsaw, Indiana to William Kenneth and Alice (Watkins) Mollenhour, Jr. Ken married the love of his life, Lorene (Melick) Mollenhour, on December 31, 1954, in Warsaw, Indiana. Ken enjoyed things that challenged his mind, he was a thinker, and a problem solver. Ken enjoyed reading, sailing, hiking, bicycling, and experiencing new adventures through travel. He was a teacher and mentor to many people who crossed his path. Once Ken retired, he prepared taxes and faithfully served in many areas of church ministry. In a funny voice, he would read stories to the kids and replace the character names to each child’s name to make it more personal. A fond memory is those precious times after dinner, Ken and all the kids would wrestle on the floor while Lorene would be in the kitchen cleaning up after the meal. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Ken will be missed by his spouse, Lorene Mollenhour; his children, Laura (George) Lin, Stephanie (John) Bukoffsky, Brooks Mollenhour; brother, Jerry (Carol) Mollenhour; grandchildren, Michele Morris, Michael Layle, Melissa Rioux, Jesse Evans, Rebecca Evans, Elizabeth Valik, Quinn Mollenhour; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Jon, Skylar, Lillian, Kaydence, Gage, Anton, Matthew, Kaylin, Zander, Nevaeh, Phenix, Eliana, Stella.
