MACALPINE, RICHARD LEE of Auburn, California; died July 9, 2021. He was 79.

Richard was born May 13, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Earl Wilson and Virginia (nee: Zelewski) MacAlpine.  He is survived by three siblings, Julie (the late David) Eby, Loretta (Tom) Pethick and Michael (Karen) MacAlpine; five nieces and nephews, Michell Culver, Michael Eby, Melissa Bundy, Kimmie Pethick and Krissy Ross; also survived by many great nieces and great nephews; he was preceded in death by his nephew, Greg Pethick.  Richard was a graduate of Ortonville High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Private services were held. Interment will be in Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.  Arrangement were entrusted to VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME, 135 South St., Ortonville, Michigan.
