Goodrich ? Goodrich bus drivers, custodians, maintenance and mechanical personnel have a new deal.
The contract for AFSCME local 1918-32 was ratified Nov. 24 by union members and the Goodrich Board of Education.
Changes to the two-year contract include wage increases of two to four percent, MESSA health care and Delta Dental insurance for those eligible, a provision for hiring substitutes for absent employees when possible, doling out assignments via a rotating seniority list, paying for bus runs exceeding one hour in five-minute increments, and paying for shuttle runs exceeding 20 minutes at a one-hour minimum.
The contract runs from July 1, 2003 to June 30, 2005.
