Curfew enforcement increased

Brandon Twp – Due to an increased number of thefts from vehicles and homes in the Clarkston Lakes and Sashabaw Meadows mobile home communities, the Brandon Substation has increased enforcement of curfew violations.
A fact sheet from the Oakland County Sheriff Brandon Substation said several of the break-ins occur during the afternoon, while home owners are away, even for a short period of time.
The statement said the crimes coincide with school letting out for the summer and the items stolen were things that could be concealed upon the person, without the need for a car.
Further facts indicate the suspects may be juveniles.
The department is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
Call the Detective Dave Hernandez or Sgt Tim McIssac at the Oakland County Sheriff Department Substation during normal business hours at (248) 627-4911.
After hours call (248) 858-4950 or Crime Stoppers Tip Line at 1-888-TURN1IN.
