Congratulations to Crossroads for Youth teacher Jeannie Crampton (center who was awarded a $1,500 technology grant check at the Oxford Board of Education meeting Tuesday night. Only 10 such grants were given out in the state of Michigan and Crampton was one of 413 applicants, according to EDS representative Paul D. Ward (right), who presented the check to Crampton. As reported in last week’s issue, Crampton will use the grant money to purchase palm pilots and math software to help enhance her students? math and technology skills.
