Hadley – A free Christian concert will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. July 3 at Hartwig Mill, south of Pratt Road on Hadley Road.
Praise music will be sung, and prayers offered for the protection of the troops, says organizer Barbara Beck, of the Hadley Chamber of Commerce.
Sales of food and drink will benefit the chamber scholarship fund.
A military ‘tree of life? will also be decorated with a flag and cross bearing the names of local service personnel. Family members are encouraged to pick up the decorations the day of the concert, and send them as a show of support.
