Hometown Pool, Spa & Patio is greeting the season with a new line of outdoor furniture, the Garden Mission Collection.
The maintenance-free polywood patio furniture can withstand all weather conditions, including snow, sun, and rain. The furniture pieces, which include tables, chairs, garden benches, swings, rockers and gliders, use stainless steel hardware and are available in burgundy, white, weatherwood, and green and are U.V. stabilized so they will not fade.
‘I chose to carry the Garden Mission Collection because it’s a quality product made from recycled materials that will have excellent longevity and does not need to be stored for winter,? said Doug Martin, owner of Hometown Pool, Spa & Patio. ‘For poolside, this is an excellent choice.?
Hometown Pool, Spa & Patio has been around since 1987, offering sales, service, installation and maintenance of pools, spas, gazebos, and outdoor garden structures (arbors). Employees can install vinyl-lined in-ground or above-ground pools, as well as retaining walls and pavers.
While the business carried thousands of supplies in-store, Martin says he can order anything he doesn’t have on-hand and has all parts manuals for anything and everything pertaining to the pool and spa business.
‘For the most part, we can always match or beat prices in mail-order catalogs,? he said. ‘Our prices are very competitive.?
Martin, 52, believes the key to Hometown Pool, Spa & Patio is the service. The business, which is completely staffed by Martin’s family members, services everything they sell, and employees will do complete water testing and analysis.
Martin enjoys working with families in the community and says a swimming pool is the best form of entertainment for children.
‘It (a pool) gives them a place to grow, exercise, and enjoy friends and relatives,? he said. ‘It keeps them in their backyard, a safe environment.?
