Kearsley Creek Cafe family dining

Goodrich.- Start your day off with a cup of fresh ground local coffee in a smoke-free environment.
Kearsley Creek Cafe, a hometown restaurant under new management is now open and is quickly becoming the local place to dine in or take out.
‘Homestyle country cooking for breakfast and lunch is perfect for families,? said Larry Atkins, who along with Lisa Schow and Ken Bowles opened Kearsley Creek Cafe, 8233 S. State Road earlier this month.
‘From our signature Mexican Burritos, made with a special sausage, to fresh ground hamburger to local ‘A Bean to Go Coffee,? roasted right next door, we provide generous portions seven days a week, right in town.?
Lisa and Larry bring more than 10 years of cooking along with food service experience to the kitchen.
Since opening, Atkins has hired several employees at the new local eatery. They have also changed the restaurant decor to a county-outdoor theme, featuring wild game and a trophy wall for that big fish or game customers may have taken. In addition, an LCD flat screen television adorns the wall keeping diners in the know. Lighter menu is also available including fresh chef and chicken salads.
Kearsley Creek Cafe is open Sat-Sun 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
