Detectives in Independence Township are looking for a suspect in an attempted home invasion that occurred Tues., April 28, on Palmyra Lane near M-15 and Rattalee Lake Road.
According to police, the suspect tried to kick in a door of the residence, but fled when he was spotted by someone inside the home. Another home in the same area was burglarized Tuesday, as well.
The suspect is described as a while male, 5’8-5’10, about 170-190 lbs with well-groomed, light-colored hair, either blond or orange tint. Suspect was wearing a black leather jacket and khaki pants.
