Those attending the Kingsbury Country Day School open house on Sunday, Nov. 14 got a real treat when raptor biologist Joe Rogers showed up with his eagles, owls, hawks and falcons.
Adults and children alike were amazed as they got an up close and personal look at his birds, while learning about their habitat and what it takes to remain healthy and viable.
At the end, Rogers answered many questions about his birds.
The program was part of a series sponsored by the Kingsbury Environmental Institute, whose mission is to enhance and support community understanding and appreciation of the environment through education, research and active involvement in stewardship. ? Staff Writer Andrew Moser
