The Clarkston Area Youth Association held their 12th annual golf outing on June 13 at Liberty Golf course.
‘The thing about the Clarkston community is they really embrace and understand our mission to help reduce delinquency, child neglect and abuse,? said Cassandra Goulding of CAYA.
The golf outing was organized as a scramble with 27 four-person teams competing.
Headlining the list of prizes was Clarkston Chrysler Plymouth offer of a new Jeep Liberty for a hole in one.
After play was done a raffle, an auction and a catered meal helped people savor or forget their day on the links.
The event raised enough money to send forty children to overnight camp this summer.
