Looking for something fun to do with the little ones on the odd Tuesday afternoon?
Grab a blanket or some lawn chairs, pack a lunch and head to downtown Oxford’s Centennial Park for storytime courtesy of the Oxford Public Library.
Books, singing and dancing are all part of the fun as the local library tries to help parents and kids fend off the summer blues, while encouraging a lifelong love of reading.
Storytime is happening in the park every Tuesday from 1-1:30 p.m. now through July 21.
When the weather is bad, storytime gets moved to the library located at 530 Pontiac Rd.
