20 years: Oxford Bank-Ortonville

In the fall of 1990, Oxford Bank came to Ortonville.
Now, 20 years later, the Oxford Bank-Ortonville, 345 S. Ortonville Road, continues to serve the area.
Linda Moskal, bank officer and Ortonville branch manager for more than 13 years, is proud to celebrate the milestone.
‘Oxford Bank is a hometown community bank and I believe that is what separates us from the other banks because we know the customers? names and their families,? said Moskal. ‘I am often approached to answer banking questions during non-business hours and have also answered many questions by phone. It makes me feel good that customers appreciate my thoughts on whatever their question/problem might be. So thank you, Ortonville, for allowing me to be your small town banker and to provide your banking needs in this amazing community.?
The facility was acquired by Oxford Bank from First Federal Savings and Loan of Pontiac in July of 1990 and first opened as the bank’s fourth branch location on Oct. 1, 1990. Major renovations were made in October of 1996 to improve the overall aesthetic and functionality of location, including a new roof and three additional drive-thru lanes.
As manager of Oxford Bank-Ortonville, Moskal remains active in various community organizations including the Brandon/Ortonville Chamber of Commerce, All Sports Brandon Boosters, the Chamber of Commerce Business Expo and Septemberfest, as well as the annual senior citizen Thanksgiving luncheon.
