Both Goodrich and Brandon School districts will be holding school board elections June 14. Those interested in running should file by April 12.
In the Goodrich School District three seats will be up for election.
Incumbents Gary Foltz and Michael Tripp are seeking re-election to their respective four-year and one-year seats; board member Robert Chlebnik has indicated he will not be running this year for the seat which carries a four-year term.
A minimum of six petition signatures are required to file; otherwise the applicant must pay a $100 fee.
Applications are available from the Goodrich Board of Education office, located at 8029 S. Gale Road in the west end of Goodrich High School. The office will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 12 for those turning in completed applications.
Both Brandon School District Trustees Gina Muzzarelli and Christopher Yuchasz announced they will seek re-election for their four-year seats. Petitions and affidavit forms can be obtained at the Brandon Schools Administration Office, located at 1025 S. Ortonville Road.
Election law requires Brandon nominating petitions must be signed by a minimum of 40 registered voters. Board candidates also have the option of paying a nonrefundable filing fee of $100 instead of filing nomination petitions.
