Paint Creek Elementary School Principal Beverly Tepper made good on her word at the end of March. She promised her students she would be duct taped to the commons area wall if they read at least 100,000 minutes during the month (Reading Month). Actually, the minutes totaled over 610,000. Eight hundred students got a chance to put a piece of tape on their principal. During an assembly a check for over $5,000 in pledge monies was presented to Paws For a Cause. Blanche Sims Elementary School also has a successful Paws For a Cause project each year during March.
