Dragon Dash race winners

The 2004 annual Dragon Dash race was held May 2, sponsored by the Orion Township Parks and Recreation Department. Here are the winners:
Overall female winners were Ashley Wharton of Lake Orion, 18, finishing eighth overall with a time of 31:50; and Maggy Zidor, 54, finishing 28th overall with a time of 36:33.
For women under 13: Julie Kowalski, 13, finishing 106th overall with a time of 47:05. For women 14-19: Brooke Harms, 15, finishing 34th overall with a time of 37:55. For women 20-24: Trudy Chase, 22, finishing 24th overall with a time of 35:59.
For women 25-29, Holly James, 26, finishing 17th overall with a time of 34:47. For women 30-34, Christa Wade, 30, finishing 64th overall with a time of 41:19. For women 35-39, Jama Kettman, 35, finishing 31st overall with a time of 36:44.
For women 40-44: Paulette Belanger, 40, finishing 42nd overall with a time of 38:12. For women 45-49, Mary Pearson, 49, finishing 87th with a time of 44:20.
For women 50-59, Donna Olson, of Bloomfield Hills, 50, finishing 37th overall with a time of 37:56. For women 60-69, Darlene Boyer, 67, finishing 144th with a time of 14:08.
Overall male winners were Neil Peruski of Metamora, 30, finishing first overall with a time of 28:20; and James Carlton, 61, finishing fifth overall with a time of 31:01.
For men 13 and under: Chad Nieswand, 13, finishing 108th overall with a time of 47:21. For men 14-19, Jason Lawton, 16, finishing ninth overall with a time of 32:00. For men 20-24, Jules Winfield, 22, finishing second overall with a time of 29:29.
For men 25-29, Nathan Hamilton, 27, finishing 23rd overall with a time of 35:33. For men 30-34, Scott Stryker, 33, finishing third overall with a time of 30:38. For men 35-39, Manny Tapia of Oxford, 35, finishing fourth overall with a time of 30:40.
For men 40-44, Gino Capsso, 40, finishing 10th overall with a time of 32:11. For men 45-49, Stan Ford, 49, finishing 18th overall with a time of 35:02. For men 50-59, Jim Hess, 56, finishing 36th overall with a time of 37:55.
For men 60-69, Brian Harris, 60, finishing 11th with a time of 33:08. For men 70 and over, George Coon, 75, finishing 132nd overall with a time of 56:36.
