The Lake Orion High School girls soccer team were defeated by Rochester Adams, but tied against Clarkston and Rochester in varsity action recently.
The team tied with the Wolves 2-2, lost to the Highlanders 1-0 and tied with the Falcons 2-2.
Jessica Boyle continued to be a force for the Dragons, as a top goal scorer and top player in the league.
Freshman Rachel Bemman and junior Elyse Keifer contributed to the scoring with exceptional play, according to varsity coach Ken Snage.
Captains Stephanie Keteyian and Holli Finneren are in the midst of great seasons, providing added punch to the Dragons? attack, said Snage.
Jillian Whiteside has anchored the team’s defense, along with Jenna Hill, Shelley Marick and Amelia Cortis, all developing into excellent defenders.
Snage said all of the team is contributing to weekly play, and helping Orion to play tough. The team’s record is 3-6-1 in OAA I, 8-7-1 overall for the season.
