Kids ages 5-12 will have another choice in playground equipment this summer. Lake Orion officials decided to add to the equipment at Atwater Park.
Seven companies responded to a request for proposals by the LO Parks and Recreation Committee. Village council members on June 28 accepted a low bid from All About Play in the amount of $10,480. The playscape will be installed by DPW workers.
The playscape will accommodate 25-30 children at a time.
