Silverbell Road, between Kern and Adams Roads in Oakland Township, will be closed from approximately July 26-Aug. 27.
The closure is necessary so the township can widen and resurface the Silverbell/Adams intersection and reduce the slope of a hill on Silverbell west of the intersection.
During the closure, the detour route will be Kern to Gunn to Adams and vice versa.
This section of Silverbell carries approximately 16,000 vehicles per day.
