Suspect arrested in break-in

A Pontiac man was caught Aug. 24 at 9:40 p.m. trying to steal items from the Lakeshore Motel on South Broadway.
Michael Brosch, 41, was arraigned last week at Rochester’s 52/3 District Court and charged with breaking and entering which is a 10 year felony.
Lake Orion Police Officer Todd Stanfield was called to the motel after village dispatch received a 911 call. Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies and Oxford Police were called for backup.
When Stanfield entered the office of the motel, according to reports, he found Brosch with items that belonged to the motel in his hands.
Stanfield ordered the suspect to the ground and attempted to handcuff him. Brosch resisted and a deputy stunned him with a taser gun.
More property of the motel was found in Brosch’s car.
Brosch is currently being held in the Oakland County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond/10 percent.
