Lake Orion Police Lieutenant Harold Rossman advises that starting at noon on Dec. 4 visitors to the downtown area won’t be able to park along Broadway north and south between Front and Elizabeth Street and Front Street between Anderson and Broadway.
Police will also be restricting traffic along the parade route beginning at 5 p.m.
Street closures begin at 5:30 p.m. and includes M-24 at South Broadway, M-24 at West Flint, M-24 at Shadbolt, M-24 and West Church, M-24 at Elizabeth Street and Flint and Perry Streets along with the parade route.
Some local residential streets not named will be closed to traffic also. Detour routes will be clearly marked.
Rossman suggests using alternate routes when entering the downtown area.
