LO Icers win first home game

The Lake Orion High School varsity ice hockey team played their first home game on Nov. 20 at the Detroit Skate Club against Bloomfield, winning the game, 2-0.
Lake Orion’s first goal came in the second period from Justin Sparkman, assisted by Ben Longuski.
Despite many penalties from both sides in the third period, Longuski managed to score the second goal, assisted by Sparkman and Andrew Sargent.
Goaltender Casey Navarre made 16 saves, while Bloomfield’s goalie faced 27 shots, saving 25 of them.
After the game, the Dragons? record went to two wins and one loss, zero ties.
Bloomfield’s record is 1-2-0.
Both teams play in OAA II.
