The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of vehicle tires being slashed on Candlewick Drive on Dec. 1.
According to an OCSD report, a 44-year-old woman said four tires were slashed on the vehicle her husband had bought the week before. Her son had received a suspicious phone call the day before, from a man who ‘sarcastically? told him he might want to check the batteries in his smoke detector. The caller then hung up.
The woman said her son is feuding with a 17-year-old male in the neighborhood, and she believed the two incidents were related.
The son told the OCSD that the man he’s feuding with had told him about a month ago that he was going to slash his tires and burn his house down.
