Lake Orion High School senior Nichole Woityra signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship to Grand Valley State University, before a crowd of friends and family on Nov. 17 at LOHS. Woityra has played softball all four years at LOHS, and plans to go into human services, to become a nurse or teacher, at Grand Valley. She said she chose the school because they have a good softball program and she loves the campus. Woityra was joined at her signing by parents Joe and Cindy Woityra (far right), and varsity volleyball coach Mike Hatch (far left) and varsity softball coach Denny Davis.
