Someone struck a vehicle on North Conklin Road with a log of wood, causing damage on Dec. 10.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, the car windshield was struck one to three times with the log. The 42-year-old woman who owned the vehicle said she was not quarreling with anyone in the neighborhood, and her family did not suspect anyone who could be responsible.
There was some scuffing on the hood of the vehicle, possibly related to the incident. The log appeared to have come from a wood pile southeast of the home.
The area was patrolled by the OCSD, and possible damage was found to several mailboxes in the area. The OCSD said someone in the area may be committing random malicious acts.
