Goodrich enrichment
The Goodrich Community Education Winter Enrichment brochure offers adult guitar, sign language, digital cameras, knitting, and ceramics classes, as well as youth tutoring, Spanish, swimming, chess, roller skating, crafts, and fitness classes. Parenting classes through Project SKIP are also offered.

Parents night out
Atlas Community Baptist Church is hosting a fund-raiser community-wide Parents Night Out from 6 to 10 p.m. Jan. 21.
Cost of $5 per child or $15 per family of 3 or more. Infants to age 12 welcome, nursery provided. The evening includes food, games, crafts, movie, and magic show with Rodney.
Proceeds will be donated to bone marrow testing to find a match for church member Pam Arnold, who is hospitalized with leukemia.

Preschool open house
The Brandon Co-op Preschool has opened enrollment for the 2005-2006 school year, and will be holding open houses from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 21 at the preschool, located at 18 South St. in downtown Ortonville. Interested parents are encouraged to attend with children.

Beginning Jan. 18, Brandon Co-op Preschool will have immediate openings in a Tuesday-Thursday class for 3 and 4-year-olds.

Gentle senior yoga
A ‘gentle? yoga six-week course will begin Jan. 24 at the Brandon Senior Center. Classes are held at 10 a.m.; students should bring their own mat.

Daddy-daughter dance
Order tickets for the Goodrich Daddy-Daughter Dance by Jan. 31 at any Goodrich school office.
The dance will be held form 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at Oaktree Elementary caf?.
Cost: $10 per ticket or $25 per family, includes disc jockey music, activities, refreshments, door prizes, and a keepsake.
Dance proceeds benefit the Goodrich High School Class of 2006.

Women’s Club to meet
The Ortonville Women’s Club will meet at 1 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Brandon Senior Center.

St. Anne girls night
St. Anne Catholic Church is holding a Girls Night Out chastity group, exploring topics like chastity, love, and personal worth.
The group, for girls in grades seven to 12, meets from 8 to 9 p.m. Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 17, and April 28 at the church.

Sock monkeys
Sock monkey kits will once again be sold for the Brandon Township Public Library’s ‘Monkeying Around? party slated for 1 p.m. Feb. 12, 2005.
Kits are on sale at the circulation desk. Cost: $6.

Winter Lights dance
St. Anne Catholic Church is holding its Winter Lights dinner dance Feb. 26 at the church, located at 825 S. Ortonville Road.
Dinner buffet, from 7 to 8 p.m., will be served accompanied by the Brandon High School jazz band. From 9 to 11 p.m., dance to a wide selection of music by the four-piece band ‘Seabreeze?.
Tickets: $25 in advance; $30 at the door. Price includes dinner, entertainment, beer, wine, and coffee.
