At least one village council member is tired of looking at the house on South Broadway that burned in December.
Tom Albert, who lives near the house, wanted to know at the council meeting on Jan. 24 when the house is coming down.
Lake Orion Police Chief Jerry Narsh told Albert an investigation by Oakland County Sheriff’s Department’s Arson Squad was done at the site.
He said the fire was ‘undetermined? in nature.
According to Narsh, Terry Winter, the developer who owns the property, was notified that he could demolish the structure as soon as he obtained all the required disconnects and permits.
Winter has indicated to Narsh that he plans to tear down 216 Broadway (burned house) and 224 South Broadway (another home) at the same time.
