Olde World Canterbury Village hosted their second annual ice carving event on Jan. 29, as teams from area colleges and high schools competed to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit.
Last year the event raised funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. After the day-long ice carving event, participants and visitors were invited to join the Ronald McDonald House staff and board at the ‘Hearts Aglow? dinner.
The banquet room at Canterbury Castle was decorated as a ski lodge, and guests were welcome to dress in ski attire.
