The Lake Orion Review reported in the Feb. 9 issue on a house fire that happened in the Preserves Subdivision off Waldon Road on Feb. 5, where a family dog was rescued and transported to a 24-hour veterinary clinic in Waterford.
The Review received a call last week from someone who knows the family and was at the fire, saying that the dog had passed away.
The dog was found in an upstairs bedroom, along with a cat that was deceased, by Orion Fire Rescue. They gave the dog CPR and had it transported to the clinic, where we are told it later died.
