The Orion Township Board has approved a request to add parking spaces at the Orion Senior Center.
Director Lisa Sokol said the project will add 11 spots to the west of the existing parking lot, off of Anderson Street.
Sokol, who is hoping construction can begin before the cold weather sets in, said the 11 spots will provide roughly one-third additional parking at the center.
