Jack Renkens is coming to Oxford High School 7 p.m. April 19 to talk to parents and student-athletes about ‘The Realities of College Recruiting.?
Hosted by the OHS Athletic Department, the free 75-minute presentation will focus on the value of academics in the recruiting process; unheard of opportunities available to student-athletes; how to interpret written correspondence and phone contact; 10 ‘golden rules? for parents of student-athletes; the importance of NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA recruiting standards and the role of the high school counselor and coach.
Renkens has 20 years experience as a parent, teacher, award-winning coach and administrator at the high school and college levels.
