POH Medical Center-Oxford is offering a free one-hour class featuring everything you should know about the importance of having legal documentation for a Durable Power of Attorney for Heath Care and the appointment of a Patient Advocate.
The Michigan State Legislature has authorized the use of Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care in our state. The Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care ensures that your desire to accept or refuse medical treatment is honored when you are unable to participate in medical treatment decisions.
POH Medical Center Risk Manager and Attorney Chris Allman will lead the discussion on this topic as well as provide the necessary paperwork on Thursday, April 28 at 10 a.m.
You can register for the class by calling Sharon Farrell at (248) 628-3000 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Class size is limited so register now.
