Residents on King Circle were jarred Sunday night when an extremely large tree branch loaded with heavy wet snow crashed to the ground. The branch brought down power lines. Power to nearby homeowners was restored on Monday afternoon. The Lake Orion area was pelted on continuously Saturday and Sunday with the heavy stuff, but any snow that managed to stick to the ground disappeared within a day.
