Baseball team on a hot streak

The Lake Orion varsity baseball team added three victories to their record last week, first defeating Rochester, 6-3, on April 28. Josh Hughes was the winning pitcher, and also had two RBI. Joe Barnes contributed a pair of doubles for the team. Over the weekend, the Dragons hosted the Lake Orion Invitational, winning the first game against Oxford, 3-1. Neil Medchill was 1-for-2 with a homerun, while Jon Krause did not allow an earned run in the seven innings he pitched. The Dragons defeated Grosse Pointe North, 6-4, to win the invitational championship. Medchill was 3-for-4 with a homerun, and Kip Drewry was 3-for-4 with two runs. The Dragons? record is 10-5.
