Left: St. Joseph’s School’s team ‘Dizzy Derby,? placed second in its division at Destination Imagination competition on April 16. The division consisted of 25 of the best teams from all over Michigan. This qualifies the team to go to Global Competition in Tennessee, May 18-21. Over 900 teams from the United States, Canada and countries from all over the world will be competing. This is billed as the second largest educational gathering in the world. Destination Imagination teaches children divergent thinking, creative problem solving and teamwork. Members of the Dizzy Derby team include: Taylor Hargraves, Evan Monk, Keegan Collins, Andy Kozyra, Alex Fountana, Courtney Cox, Katie Powers.
