Oxford/Orion FISH is launching a new backpack and school supply drive, to help kids from low income families feel good about returning to school in the fall.
FISH is asking for backpacks for children in grades K-8. If there are enough to go around, packs and supplies will be offered to area high school students.
Drop-off points are: Applebee’s and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion, The Oxford Leader, and Curves in Oxford.
The backpacks will be collected from July 5-Aug. 10. For more information, contact FISH at 693-0638.
The FISH Clothes Closet will be closed during the month of July, and will reopen in August.
