Lake Orion Schools has had artificial turf installed for the football and soccer fields at Lake Orion High School.
The project began in May, and has been ongoing through the summer. The process involved tearing up the dirt fields, removing dirt, leveling the area and then preparing for the turf to be laid down.
Work on the football field has been completed. The soccer field is not yet finished.
