The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate an accident that occurred near Conklin Road on Sept. 13, when a four-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle.
According to the OCSD, the boy rode his bicycle into the roadway on Forest Lake Road, near Conklin, at about 6:30 p.m.
The boy was struck by a 2005 Toyota truck. He was transported to William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, and listed in serious condition.
