Varsity kickers looking for a victory in OAA I

The Lake Orion varsity boys soccer team was winless last week, as they tied with Royal Oak Kimball on Sept. 13, and lost to Troy Athens at home on Sept. 15.
Against Kimball, the Dragons tied 1-1. Senior Grahme Doyle scored the team’s only goal in the first two minutes of the game, on an assist from senior Chris Olghart.
Lake Orion took their 2-1-3, 0-3 record in OAA I up against Athens on Sept. 15, playing their first game on their new artificial turf field at Lake Orion High School.
The Dragons lost, 3-1, with senior Michael Zach scoring the team’s only goal.
Lake Orion hosted Clarkston on Sept. 20, and will host Rochester Adams on Sept. 22.
Varsity game time is 7 p.m.
