The Lake Orion varsity girls tennis team lost to Stoney Creek on Sept. 14, but came back on Sept. 15 to defeat Waterford Mott, 9-0. Against Stoney Creek, the Dragons lost 5-3, with Annie Sauer, Caitlin Young and Kristen Limback winning singles matches for the team. Against Mott, Sauer, Young and Limback were winners in singles again, along with Allison Diven. Doubles winners for Lake Orion were Vanessa Fonbuena and Jennifer Bandico, Stephanie Costigan and Jessica Davis, Kristin Humes and Sara Doelle, and Lauren Bechard and Lauren Stoffel.
