The township board has authorized engineers to prepare cost estimates and bid specifications for safety path projects within the 2006 budget.
Projects on the list for 2006 include: Orion Road (Corners to Stoney Creek; already in progress), Lapeer Road (east side, Indian Lake Road to path ending at Buffalo Wild Wings), short pieces to fill in the gaps on the east side of Lapeer from Home Depot to Best Western and Greenshield Road.
Also on the list: Baldwin Road (east side, Waldon to Eaton Gate), and Joslyn Road (east side, Waldon to township entrance).
