Italia Construction Company is in the neighborhood ready to work on a sidewalk project near you.
The company, which was hired to install a sidewalk on the south side of East Flint from Orion Road to Washington, was given approval by Lake Orion Village Council members on Oct. 11 to work on over $13,000 in additional sidewalk projects.
Projects include replacing existing sidewalk from the rear entrance of the village hall to the parking lot; installing a new sidewalk on the north side of Shadbolt from Anderson west to Little Caesar’s and replacing damaged sidewalk along Atwater.
Italia will also be installing new concrete driveway approaches on the east side of Anderson from Shadbolt south to Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home driveway and from Flint Street south to the Methodist Church driveway.
Concrete approaches will be installed on the east side of Lapeer Street from Flint Street north to Shadbolt. New concrete will be installed on the east and west sides of the north end of the North Shore Bridge.
