A disorderly person made himself right at home at a house on Marina Pointe Boulevard on Dec. 11.
According to an Oakland County Sheriff’s Department report, a 51-year-old man said an unknown man entered his house without permission and refused to leave.
The deputy found the suspect, identified as a 24-year-old Bloomfield Township man by his driver’s license, sitting inside his car in the man’s driveway.
The man was intoxicated. The Marina Pointe homeowner said he’d been expecting his daughter when his doorbell rang and he opened the door to find the Bloomfield man.
The suspect then entered the home and told the homeowner he lived there.
The homeowner said he took the man’s keys and called the police.
The Bloomfield man was transported to St. Joe’s via ambulance for detoxification.
