Lake Orion cheer teams, the Green team and the White team, took second place at the Mega Cheer Competition, sponsored by the Northern Youth Football League (NYFL) on Nov. 12. The Freshmen Green received medals for finishing second in sideline routing, which combined cheer, dance and stunting. The Freshmen White were second in the skill cheer, which demonstrated three skills. The JV Green were fourth in the skill cheer and second in sideline routing; and the JV White were first in skill cheer and tied for first in sideline routing with Clarkston.
