As a member of the Lake Orion Lions Club I want to let the Lake Orion area community know how much help the Gingellville Center has been to us over the years and also the tremendous support they have provided the Lake Orion Lioness.
The Lions organizations in the Lake Orion area provide a number of services to our local community and one of the most visible projects is our Christmas basket program. Without the help from the Gingellville Center this project would not be as successful as it is.
For years it has provided tables that we use to sort out the food stuffs we place in the baskets for the 100 plus families we support with this project. The center provides these tables to the Lions at no cost allowing us to have more to provide for those in need.
The Lioness have a number of functions at the Gingellville Center and they are allowed the use of the center at no cost to them so the funds raised help the many projects the Lioness support in our community.
The most recent event was breakfast with Santa and over 50 children in our community had a chance to have some fun and visit the big guy.
‘We Serve? is the motto for Lions Clubs and with the help of the Gingellville center we are allowed to serve at a higher level. We are thankful to GCC and hope the community continues to support the center and their activities.
