Wills & Associates and Wills Insurance Services

The father and son duo of Donald and Wayne Wills operate two distinct companies with one shared mission ? attention to individual needs.
While Wayne heads up Wills Insurance Services Inc., Don leads Wills & Associates Insurance Agency Inc. The two Ortonville residents both house their businesses at 215 W. Flint St., Davison.
Wills & Associates has been in business since 1914, representing more than 10 companies. They serve customers in the Ortonville, Goodrich, and Davison areas.
They specialize in life insurance and other benefits: hospitalization, disability income, Roth IRA, group pension, private pension, group and individual life/hospital/disability, long-term care, and asset protection.
The staff at Wills and Associates is comprised of Don Wills, Ed Wracan, and Susan Pitser.
Wills Insurance Services has provided continuous service since 1974, representing more than 15 companies. They provide insurance for home, auto, farm, business, bonds, business/contractors/workers compensation, and home businesses.
The staff at Wills Insurance Services is comprised of Wayne Wills, Brenda Swords, Leslie Wills, and Carla Mitchum.
Wayne said with the growth of the Internet and ‘E-commerce,? it is easy to forget that not all customers want to do business on computer. ‘E-commerce has taken some of the human contact out of the consumer picture,? he said.
He said technology has its place in the insurance world ? for instance, customers can request and receive not only quotes, but also service online. They can also check on their claim status at their convenience.
Most importantly, though, when they need a ‘real person? to talk to, that’s where Wills & Associates and Wills Insurance Services shines.
Wayne cautioned that with E-commerce insurance, the temptation for the customer over the Internet is to incorrectly or inaccurately answer important evaluation questions. If this occurs, followed by a claim, the insurers can legally deny benefit payments. Honesty is very important.
‘The trust level is greater when you are looking at the customer face-to-face,? he said.
He said doing business in the Ortonville/Goodrich/Davison area is enjoyable because of the high level of integrity of their customers.
‘They have good family values and business ethics,? Wayne said. ‘They are family oriented and care about protecting their assets, as well as paying off their debt.?
