The annual eight kilometer Dragon Dash run and walk is set for May 21.
Participants can also do the Tot Trot (for youth under seven) or the Fun Run (three-fourths of a mile). But the main attraction is the race.
The race begins at Civic Center Park at 9 a.m. and will chart it’s course around Lake Voorheis.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and registration check in is no later than 8:30 a.m.
Registration is $20 with a shirt and $15 without. Race Day student only (under 18, with ID) is $10 without a shirt. There is an additional $2 for XXL and XXXL shirt sizes.
The race is computer scored and goes across a certified course that includes bike paths, residential streets and park areas around the lake.
A course map is available online at the township’s website and registration can be handled there as well.
Divisions for the race are broken down as 13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.
The Fun Run and Tot Trot are both free events, with the Run Run beginning at 8 a.m. and the Tot Trot at 8:30 a.m.
