The annual fireworks display put on by the Lake Orion Fireworks Association is slated for Sunday, July 2 at dusk (around 10 p.m.).
According to Carl Cyrowski, the show will likely be done electronically, and entirely on barges, for the first time in its history.
‘Hopefully it will be the best and safest fireworks ever,? he said.
Cyrowski said donations are needed to support the show, and can be mailed to 3677 S. Lapeer Rd., Lake Orion, MI 48360.
In addition, upcoming fundraisers are scheduled at the Lake Orion Boat Club, Christi’s, and the Hamlin Pub. Contact Cyrowski at (248) 393-0600 for more information.
Watch for donation envelopes coming in the May 31st edition of The Review.
