Jacobsen’s Flowers and Garden Town of Lake Orion will provide 28 arborvitae, plus planting, to replace shrubs at a residence on Orion Road.
The LO Village Council approved the quote from Jacobsen’s for $1,850, as it was the lowest of three received. The shrubs are being replaced due to meandering the sidewalk going in along Orion Road onto private property, to avoid relocation of a fire hydrant.
Replacing the shrubs was the less costly option. Permission was obtained from the private property owner to allow the sidewalk onto their property, in exchange for the landscaping improvements.
