A tree and plaque, similar to others around Orion Township Hall, will honor the late Gerald Letcher, who passed away at the age of 74 in July.
Clerk Jill Bastian said she had been approached by multiple people about doing something in honor of Letcher, who she described as being extremely concerned about community issues.
Checks for the Gerald Letcher Tree Fund can be directed to the Clerk’s office.
